The Pantheone I wifi system only uses the 2.4GHz band. Most routers have both 2.4GHz and 5.8GHz bands. Your phone / tablet must be connected to the network using the 2.4GHz band to perform the setup for a speaker. You can only connect the speaker to the same wifi network to which your phone/tablet is connected to. The 2.4GHZ band has a longer range than the 5.8GHz band. This is why our speakers only use the 2.4GHz band.
